Events are one way YAD members can learn more about the organisations and work UJC supports while also networking with other young adults. YAD holds a number of exciting events each year, such as:
Young Business and Professionals Breakfast Forums: Join other movers and shakers – from academics to executives – for breakfast and an address by individuals of interest from the world of business, sports and more.
YAD’s Annual Campaign Launch: This popular event – a concert, show or dinner – generates the vast majority of our donations for the year. Attend this event to show your support for our community!
YAD’s Annual Corporate Charity Golf Day: YAD’s Golf Day attracts a wide range of YAD members and corporate partners for a day of fun and fundraising.
The Boardroom: The basis for this new YAD initiative is friends reaching out to friends. YAD members can apply to host an intimate event in their boardrooms to which they will invite peers and friends who they believe are concerned stakeholders in our community.
Monthly Dial-A-Thons: A few hours of time is all that it takes to help YAD! Join us each month for an evening of ringing for rands. We meet at the UJC office for a casual dinner followed by phone canvassing – no experience necessary.
UJC Top Donors Event: All donors who contribute R18000 or more per annum are invited to this prestigious fundraising event which features prominently on the Cape Town Jewish calendar.
